The Petronas Twin Towers(also known as the Petronas Towers or Twin Towers), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are the world’s tallest twin buildings.
They were the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004 if measured from the level of the main entrance to the structural top, the original height reference used by the US-based Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat from 1969 (three additional height categories were introduced as the tower neared completion in 1996).(Wikipedia)
"According to Lao Tse (Chinese Philosopher), the reality of a hollow object is in the void and not in the walls that define it. He was speaking, of course, of spiritual realities".
These are the realities also of the Petronas Towers. The power of the void is increased and made more explicit by the pedestrian bridge that, with its supporting structure creates a portal to the sky, a door to the infinite.
When arnold brought me to this tower I was so amazed that I don’t want to let go by staring at it. We are like just two young adults who dated for the first time. I can say that there was a similarity in terms of my relationship with arnold just like the twin tower that “the reality of a hollow object is in the void and not in the walls that define it” .
That despite the hardships ahead, we both feel optimistic, because our relationship passed the test of time and distance, and that’s the most important thing. Just like the petronas one cannot live without the other half, and the bridge it represent the Almighty. I consider this experience as another LIFE’S WONDER.
